DUARTE (CNS) – A 59-year-old general contractor was arrested for his alleged failure to pay a pair of day laborers for work and for his alleged failure to complete a construction job in Duarte for which he was paid. Â
Ken Park was arrested on Jan. 25 in La Mirada by detectives from the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department Regional Human Trafficking Task Force, according to LASD Deputy Alejandra Parra. Â
Park was facing six felony counts for his alleged actions in April 2021, which Parra claimed included paying the day laborers with checks he knew were not good. Â
Park posted $95,000 bail and was released from custody, Parra said. Â
The Special Victims Task Force is asking anyone who believes he or she was cheated by Park to call them at 877-710-5273.
