Fire Burning in Two Acres of Brush in Hansen Dam Recreation Area

LOS ANGELES (CNS) – A fire was burning in about two acres of brush Monday in the Hansen Dam Recreation Area, but no structures were threatened.

The fire was reported near the 11700 block of West Foothill Boulevard about 1 p.m., according to the Los Angeles Fire Department.

Ground crews and helicopter crews were sent to battle the flames. No injuries were immediately reported.
