Homeowners, renters and small businesses impaacted by the fires in LA County have until March 10th to apply for both FEMA disaster assistance and a U.S. Small Business Administraion (SBA) low-interest disaster loan.
Here’s how to apply for disaster assistance:
- Online at DisasterAssistance.gov.
- Via the FEMA App (available at the Apple App Store or Google Play)
- Call the FEMA helpline at 800-621-3362, lines open 4am-10pm 7 days a week.
- Visit a Disaster Recovery Center (DRC). To find one near you, CLICK HERE
How to apply for an SBA Low-Interest Disaster loan:
- Online at SBA.gov/disaster
- Call SBA’s Customer Service Center hotline at 800-659-2955.
- Email DisasterCustomerService@sba.gov
- At a Business Recovery Center, where you can submit a completed application or SBA representatives can help you apply. To find a BRC near you, CLICK HERE.
- Applications for disaster loans may be submitted online using the MySBA Loan Portal
