FBI Releases Photo Of ‘Person Of Interest’ In Charlie Kirk Assassination

The FBI has released images of a person of interest in the investigation of the assassination of Charlie Kirk, a prominent conservative activist. Kirk, who co-founded Turning Point USA, was shot dead on Wednesday (September 10) while speaking at Utah Valley University. The shooter, believed to be of college age, remains at large.

The FBI discovered a high-powered rifle in a wooded area near the scene. Officials are also analyzing a footwear impression and a forearm imprint found nearby. The suspect reportedly fired from a rooftop before fleeing into a neighborhood.

The FBI in Salt Lake City is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying the individual captured in the released images. The manhunt for the gunman continues, with federal agents tracking the suspect’s movements.

President Trump announced plans to posthumously award Charlie Kirk the Presidential Medal of Freedom, recognizing his contributions to political activism. Meanwhile, U.S. Undersecretary of State Christopher Landau has condemned online reactions that glorify violence, emphasizing that such sentiments are unwelcome in the country.
