FBI Raids Target San Bernardino County Officials

On Tuesday, FBI agents executed search warrants at multiple locations connected to elected officials in San Bernardino County.

The investigation, which remains under wraps, involved searches at Ontario International Airport and properties linked to Ontario City Councilman Alan Wapner and San Bernardino County Supervisor Curt Hagman. Additionally, a residence associated with attorney Frank Lizarraga was searched.

The FBI also targeted a business and residence in West Covina tied to James Su, founder of EDI Media Inc., a major Chinese-language multimedia company. The FBI confirmed the execution of the warrants but did not disclose the investigation’s focus, as the warrants remain sealed. No arrests have been made.

Authorities have not clarified if the searches are part of a single investigation or separate inquiries. City and county officials, including San Bernardino County spokesperson Jannelle Needham and Ontario city spokesperson Dan Bell, acknowledged the investigation but refrained from commenting further, citing its active status.

The FBI’s activity extended to a mansion in Beverly Hills, though it remains unclear if this is related to the San Bernardino County searches. Rep. Norma Torres expressed concern over the reports, emphasizing the community’s zero tolerance for corruption.
