Three young sisters, Paityn, Evelyn, and Olivia Decker, aged nine, eight, and five, were found dead near the Rock Island Campground in Chelan County, Washington, on Monday (June 2). Their father, Travis Decker, is wanted in connection with their deaths and faces charges of first-degree murder and kidnapping.
The sisters were last seen on Friday (May 30) when they left for a planned visitation with their father. According to the Wenatchee Police Department, the visitation was part of a parenting plan, but Decker deviated from it, raising concerns. An Endangered Missing Person Alert was issued by the Washington State Patrol after the girls were reported missing.
Decker, who is 32 years old, is described as 5 feet 8 inches tall, weighing 190 pounds, with black hair in a ponytail and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a light shirt and dark shorts. Authorities believe he may pose a significant risk due to his military background and extensive training. It is unknown if he is armed.
The search for Decker involved multiple agencies, including the FBI and Chelan County Sheriff’s Office. His 2017 white GMC Sierra pickup truck was found unoccupied near the campground where the girls’ bodies were discovered. The public is urged to call 911 if they have any information on Decker’s whereabouts.
