Father Unlocks Cell Phone Of Murdered Son, Finds Video Of His Killer

A grieving father, Federico Boschetto, made a shocking discovery when he unlocked his son Michael’s phone over a year after his murder. Michael Boschetto, 32, was allegedly killed by his childhood friend Giacomo Friso, 34, in Villafranca Padovana, Italy. The attack occurred in April of the previous year, and Michael was stabbed four times.

Initially, investigators were unable to access Michael’s phone. Eventually, the device was returned to Federico, who sought help from his son’s girlfriend to unlock it. Upon unlocking, they found a chilling video of Friso, filmed shortly after the murder. In the video, Friso can be seen dancing and making a victory sign, wearing a mocking grin. Federico described the video as showing Friso “almost pleased with having killed my son,” contradicting Friso’s claim of self-defense.

According to reports, Friso had banged on Michael’s door early in the morning, leading to an argument. He left and returned later with a knife, attacking Michael outside his home. Michael’s girlfriend found him with multiple stab wounds to his face and chest.

The new evidence found on the phone will be added to the prosecution’s case. Friso, known locally for erratic behavior, had been seen with a knife days before the attack. The trial is scheduled for September 11.
