A Utah man suspected of killing his wife in a murder-suicide case shared a chilling final Facebook post in which he reflected on being a “crappy person.”
Olin Johnson, 57, is accused of fatally shooting his wife, Kerilyn, 52, before turning the gun on himself during an incident that reportedly took place inside the family’s $1.34 million Utah home, KUTV reports. Both bodies were reportedly discovered by one the couple’s children on Thursday (June 20).
Olin shared a final Facebook post on Tuesday (June 18) in which he expressed his love for motorcycles and skiing.
“No matter how crappy a person I am, motorcycles always love me back. Oh and skiing. Skiing loves me too,” Olin wrote in the post, which showed himself riding motorcycles.
Olin’s Facebook bio states that he was a “father to 6 great kids and one Beautiful wife.”
“The family is requesting privacy as they grieve their loss. We express our most profound and sincere condolences to the family and friends of Olin and Kerilyn,” the American Fork Police said via the New York Post. Police haven’t yet determined a motive and the murder-suicide investigation is ongoing.
A GoFundMe page was launched to help raise funds for the Johnsons’ children for funeral arrangements.
