“Emilia Perez” and “Wicked” Among This Year’s Winners for Film Editing

LOS ANGELES (CNS) – The editors of the films “Emilia Perez” and “Wicked” were among the honorees during the 75th annual ACE Eddie Awards presented by the American Cinema Editors.

The Friday ceremony at UCLA’s Royce Hall recognized outstanding editing in 14 film, television and documentary categories.

In addition to the competitive winners, special awards were presented to filmmaker Jon M. Chu, director of such films as “Wicked” and “Crazy Rich Asians” and film editors Maysie Hoy and Paul Hirsch.

American Cinema Editors is an honorary society, which celebrates excellence in motion picture editing.
