PASADENA (CNS) – Organizers of Pasadena’s 2025 Black History Festival have replaced the traditional parade with options for recovering from the Eaton Fire including performances, playtime and meals.
The festival is set for 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday at Robinson Park, 1081 N. Fair Oaks Ave., according to a city of Pasadena release.
“Despite the changes, the festival promises a lively and heartwarming day filled with performances, activities and much-needed support for those affected by the fire,” city officials said.
The day will include performances by local artists and youth, complimentary meals and KidZone areas where children can play.
LA County Public Works representatives will be available to provide recovery services and answer questions about debris removal. LA county Regional Planning and mental health representatives will also be there.
