Dry Conditions and Cooler Temperatures Prevail in Southland

LOS ANGELES (CNS) – Rain moved out of the Southland Friday with the National Weather Service forecast calling for dry conditions with cooler temperatures for the region.

“Skies will be partly cloudy through the weekend except for morning low clouds across the coasts and lower valleys,” said the NWS. “High temperatures will be below normal through the weekend but will warm to above normal on Monday.”

The afternoon high temperatures will continue to warm through at least Wednesday and dry conditions are forecast for the next 10 days.

The drizzling rain on Thursday was light in most of the area, with generally less than one-tenth of an inch falling, according to the National Weather Service.
