Dracula Bites Back, Margot Goes Gothic, and the Muppets Get a Glow-Up

If the Super Bowl isn’t your cup of tea, or beer, there are some other entertainment offerings to keep you, well, entertained.

A new take on Dracula from director Luc Besson opens this weekend to mixed reactions from early reviewers. Critics are praising Caleb Landry Jones’ performance and Danny Elfman’s lush score, but many said the film’s inconsistent tone and familiar elements hold it back from horror-greatness territory, with the current Rotten Tomatoes consensus landing at about the mid-50% range.

Wuthering Heights, starring Margot Robbie and Jacob Elordi, is generating enthusiastic early reactions ahead of its February 13 premiere. Critics and social media buzz describe director Emerald Fennell’s version as “intoxicating,” “bodice-ripping,” and “hypnotic,” with many highlighting the leads’ chemistry, bold visuals, and emotionally charged take on the classic Brontë romance.

Audiences heading to theaters this week can expect a gothic love story with heat and drama, while Dracula fans may find the latest cinematic bite is more atmospheric than terrifying.

If you’re in the mood for a comfort watch, The Muppet Show is back with a fresh but familiar take on the classic TV series. This version is produced by Seth Rogen and isn’t short on star power. Sabrina Carpenter is the big celebrity guest star who has some adorable and funny moments with Miss Piggy.

When Heather joins Gary and Shannon for KFI’s weekly entertainment report, they also discover a mutual love for Fraggle Rock! Prepare yourselves, there may be a sing-along element in this week’s show.

They break down what’s changed, what hasn’t, and whether this reboot of The Muppet Show hits the nostalgia sweet spot. It’s streaming now on Hulu and Disney+.
