Disney’s first StoryLiving community, Cotino, is set to welcome its first residents this spring in Rancho Mirage, California. Designed by Walt Disney Imagineering, the neighborhood offers a unique living experience for Disney enthusiasts, featuring multi-million dollar homes and a range of exclusive amenities.
The 618-acre Cotino development will eventually include nearly 2,000 homes and 400 hotel rooms. The homes range from 2,200-square-foot cottages starting in the upper $1 million range to 7,200-square-foot estates priced at over $4 million. The community’s centerpiece is Cotino Bay, a 24-acre man-made lagoon, offering private and public beaches, kayaking, and paddleboarding.
Residents can enjoy the Artisan Club, a private lounge reminiscent of Disneyland’s Club 33, which requires a $20,000 initiation fee and annual dues. The club features the Parr House, inspired by the Pixar film ‘Incredibles 2,’ offering a space for events and overnight stays. According to the Orange County Register, club members will have access to a range of amenities, including a swimming pool, wellness center, and fitness classes.
Disney cast members will manage the community, which will also host Disney-curated entertainment, including live performances, cooking classes, and art seminars. As ABC7 Chicago reports, the community aims to honor Walt Disney’s love for the Coachella Valley, offering a creative oasis for residents.
The Cotino community is expected to become a haven for Disney fans seeking to integrate the magic of Disney into their daily lives.
