The annual Disneyland Lost and Found Sale will take place on Saturday at the Goodwill of Orange County Marketplace in Santa Ana. This event offers a unique opportunity for Disneyland employees and the general public to purchase unclaimed items from the park at discounts of 90% or more off retail prices.
According to Disneyland officials, the sale will feature a wide variety of items, including Minnie Mouse ears, Stitch plush dolls, half-filled autograph books, forgotten umbrellas, misplaced sunglasses, and other souvenirs. Most items will be priced between $3 and $5, a significant reduction from their original prices at Disneyland, Disney California Adventure, or Downtown Disney.
The event is scheduled to begin with exclusive access for Disneyland cast members from 6:30 to 11 a.m. Once there are no more cast members in line, the sale will open to the general public, likely after 11 a.m. As reported by the Orange County Register, the sale often attracts long lines, and parking can fill up quickly.
In addition to lost and found items, Disneyland will also use the event to sell brand new overstock items, which still have their original price tags. The proceeds from the sale will support Goodwill, with past sales generating over a million dollars for the organization. Disneyland also partners with Goodwill through programs like Mickey’s Attic and the Tierney Center for Veteran Services, which assist veterans transitioning to civilian life.
For those unable to attend the sale, Mickey Visit suggests checking Burlington for discounted Disney items, as Disney often sends extra merchandise there.
