Detectives Seeking Additional Victims in Fake SoFi Concert Tickets Case

Detectives for the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department are asking anyone from the public that may have been scammed out of money for concert tickets to come forward.

The Hesperia Police Department launched a grand theft investigation into alleged ticket fraud involving Khristopher Dorn, who police say deceived numerous people with false promises of exclusive tickets for a Luke Combs concert at SoFi Stadium.

According to a report from police, Dorn allegedly claimed to work for high-profile companies as a promoter, offering victims access to a suite at the stadium for concerts scheduled on June 14 and June 15, 2024. According to detectives, several people transferred money to Dorn through various payment applications to secure their seats, totaling approximately $9,900. However, as the concert dates came and went, none of the victims received the promised tickets—or any refunds.

Investigators reveal that Dorn has an extensive criminal history involving fraud and theft-related charges across the United States, including Arizona, Michigan, Nevada, and Georgia.

Hesperia detectives believe that additional victims may still be unaccounted for and suspect Dorn of operating various other scams. Anyone with relevant information or who believes they may have fallen victim to similar schemes involving Dorn is encouraged to reach out to the Hesperia Police Department at (760) 947-1500.
