A frightening road rage incident was caught on dashcam video on Sunday (May 25) on the 101 Freeway in Agoura Hills, California. The victim, identified only as Nick, recounted the event, which unfolded around 5 p.m. Nick was driving northbound when he noticed a 2018 Chevy Camaro tailgating another vehicle in the fast lane. Shortly after, the Camaro driver cut Nick off and abruptly slammed on the brakes.
Nick, who had only glanced at the driver to ensure safety, expressed his fear during the incident. “We were really scared. We thought we were going to get into an accident, and that was the furthest thing from my mind that I wanted to have happen. I wanted to go home,” Nick told KABC. The aggressive driver continued to change lanes, waving hands and making gestures.
Nick was on the phone with a 911 California Highway Patrol dispatcher during the incident. The dispatcher informed him that the Camaro’s license plate was registered to an address in Sylmar. The driver exited at Lost Hills and was not seen again. Nick plans to take the dashcam video to a CHP office on Tuesday (May 27) to report the incident.
