SANTA CLARITA (CNS) – County firefighters knocked down a stubborn second-alarm fire at a strip mall in Santa Clarita today. Â
The blaze was focused in the attic of the second floor of the strip mall, according to the Los Angeles County Fire Department. Â
The fire at the strip mall at 23236 W. Lyons Ave. was reported at 4:42 p.m. Saturday, according to Dispatch Supervisor Melanie Flores. Â
The department dispatched 10 engines and four trucks to the scene, Flores said. Â
A knockdown was called at 5:25 p.m., Flores said. Â
No injuries were reported and the cause of the fire remained under investigation.
