Costco Returns Another ‘Dangerous’ Dessert

Costco has returned another fan-favorite dessert item that some fans believe is so good it’s “dangerous.”

The Kirkland Signature Butter Cinnamon Sugar Loaf, which has been sold on-and-off dating back to 2017 and last reported seen on shelves in 2023, has reappeared in both warehouses and on Coscto’s website since June, FOX News reports. The dessert is an a–butter pound cake with thick cinnamon swirls and cinnamon sugar coating sold at $9.99 for a 38-ounce loaf.

A serving of the Kirkland Signature Butter Cinnamon Sugar Loaf is reported to be 410 calories and 33 grams of sugar, according to Costco’s official website. One reddit user called it “best loaf cake ever to grace my taste buds,” comparing it to “a Sara Lee pound cake with churro dusting.”

“I saw these the other day and intentionally turned away,” another Reddit user wrote. “Kryptonite.”

A social media user described the sugar loaf as “addictive, dangerous and so darn good.” Costco also returned another seasonal dessert item, the massive Kirkland Signature Pumpkin Pie, which weighs 58 ounces, equal to 3 pounds and 10 ounces, can be purchased for just $5.99. The Kirkland Signature Pumpkin Pie follows a similar set price rule to the popular $1.50 soda-and-hot dog combo offered by the big-box warehouse club retailer as it won’t change despite inflation.

“Run to Costco for this $5.99 Pumpkin pie!!! 🥧 this giant pie is soo good!! And with Kirkland ice cream!! It’s the best!! I can’t believe you get this much for only $5.99. I always bring this to thanksgiving and I’m always the first one to grab a bite!! 🤭 I look forward to this every year!! Super excited!! Send this to someone that needs one and follow for more new Costco finds!!” the Costco New Deals Instagram account wrote with a video of the buys in a store.
