Commercial Building Fire Escalates In Laurel Canyon

NORTH HOLLYWOOD (CNS)- A commercial building fire burning in North Hollywood tonight has been upgraded to greater alarm status as firefighters transition into defensive operations.  

The Los Angeles Fire Department sent 75 firefighters to battle the escalating blaze at 6150 N. Laurel Canyon Blvd., said LAFD spokesman Brian Humphrey.  

Flames were first reported at 10:38 p.m. coming through the roof of the building, he said.  

No injuries have been reported.
