CHP Searching for Suspect Who Threw Rocks at Drivers on 110, 10 Freeways

LOS ANGELES (CNS) –  California Highway Patrol officers are searching Friday for the suspect who threw rocks or other projectiles at two drivers traveling on the Santa Monica (10) Freeway.

CHP officers responded at 11:40 p.m. Thursday to the junction of the westbound 10 Freeway and the southbound Harbor (110) Freeway where they found the black Ranger in the middle lanes of the freeway exchange, CHP Officer Megan Curtis told City News Service.

The object cracked the Ranger’s windshield and struck the victim, who was taken to a hospital by Los Angeles County Fire Department paramedics in an unknown condition, Curtis said.

According to KABC 7, another driver was traveling on the northbound 110 freeway near Adams Boulevard when the windshield of his vehicle was struck by a rock on the passenger side. He was not injured.
