Child Ingests Fentanyl at Victorville Day Care

A child tested positive for fentanyl after ingesting pills allegedly found at La Petite Academy in Victorville, California. On Tuesday (March 18), San Bernardino County deputies responded to the day care located at 14040 Bear Valley Road after staff discovered blue pills in a classroom. The pills were identified by a deputy as possible counterfeit pills containing fentanyl, marked with “M30.”

Upon reviewing surveillance footage, staff identified three children who appeared to have ingested the pills. These children, along with two staff members, were hospitalized. At least one child tested positive for fentanyl, according to the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department.
