TORRANCE (CNS) – A car-to-car shooting this afternoon caused Torrance police to shut down Crenshaw Boulevard as officers searched for evidence and made sure there were no injuries. Â
The preliminary investigation indicated the shooting was due to road rage at 2:37 p.m. at Crenshaw and Lomita boulevards, said Torrance police Sgt. Ron Salary. Â
No one was wounded in the victim’s vehicle or in the surrounding area, Salary said. Â
Crenshaw Boulevard was closed from 237th Street to Lomita Boulevard while officers searched for evidence and made sure there were no unintended victims, he said.
