Police are actively investigating a bomb threat reported at Six Flags Magic Mountain in Valencia.
On Monday morning, an individual informed deputies from the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station that they had planted bombs within the park. In response, deputies requested the assistance of a K-9 unit trained to detect explosives.
The park, a popular amusement destination located north of Los Angeles, was quickly evacuated as authorities began their search. According to Hometown Station, the bomb threat was reported around 8 a.m. by Sergeant Levin of the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station.
As of now, there have been no reports of any explosive devices being found, and the investigation remains ongoing. Authorities have not released any information regarding potential suspects or motives behind the threat.
Six Flags Magic Mountain, known for its thrilling rides and attractions, is cooperating fully with law enforcement to ensure the safety of its guests and staff. The park will remain closed until further notice as the investigation continues.
