The Los Angeles Police Department is investigating the discovery of a body inside a Tesla registered to singer D4vd. Officers responded to a report of a foul odor coming from the vehicle at a tow yard in Hollywood on Monday. The Tesla, impounded last week, was parked on the 1000 block of N. Mansfield Avenue.
According to TMZ, the remains were found in a bag inside the car’s trunk. The vehicle, a 2023 model, is registered to David Anthony Burke, known professionally as D4vd. The singer, who is currently on a world tour, is not believed to be involved in the incident.
The NBC Los Angeles reports that the car was impounded after being reported abandoned in the Hollywood Hills. The identity of the deceased has not been released, and the case is being treated as a death investigation.
D4vd, a 20-year-old artist from Hempstead, Texas, is known for hits like “Here With Me” and “Romantic Homicide.” Despite the ongoing investigation, he is scheduled to perform in Minneapolis as part of his tour.
