LOS ANGELES (CNS) – The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in Los Angeles County dropped Tuesday 1.6 cents to $4.589, a day after it was unchanged.
The average price is 3.8 cents less than one week ago, 19.4 cents less than one month ago and 56.4 cents less than one year ago, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service. It has dropped $1.905 since rising to a record $6.494 on Oct. 5, 2022.
The Orange County average price fell for the eighth day in a row, decreasing 1.7 cents to $4.503, a day after dropping three-tenths of a cent.
It is 5.7 cents less than one week ago, 19.6 cents less than one month ago and 59.5 cents less than one year ago. It has dropped $1.956 since rising to a record $6.459 on Oct. 5, 2022.
The national average price dropped for the 10th straight day, decreasing 1 cent to $3.462, a day after dropping two-tenths of a cent.
It is 3.7 cents less than one week ago, 4.7 cents less than one month ago and 36.7 cents less than one year ago. The national average price has dropped $1.554 since rising to a record $5.016 on June 14, 2022.
