LOS ANGELES (CNS) – The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in Los Angeles County rose Friday 1.4 cents to $4.625, a day after dropping nine-tenths of a cent.
It dropped 14 of the past 17 days.
The average price is 5.5 cents less than one week ago, 17.4 cents less than one month ago and 38.2 cents less than one year ago, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service. It has dropped $1.869 since rising to a record $6.494 on Oct. 5, 2022.
The Orange County average price rose 2.2 cents to $4.565, a day after rising one-tenth of a cent.
It is 3.7 cents less than one week ago, 14 cents less than one month ago and 37.1 cents less than one year ago. It has dropped $1.894 since rising to a record $6.459 on Oct. 5, 2022.
The national average price dropped two-tenths of a cent to $3.,519, a day after rising eight-tenths of a cent.
It is 1.6 cents more than one week ago, 2.5 cents more than one month ago, and 16.8 cents less than one year ago. The national average price has dropped $1.497 since rising to a record $5.016 on June 14, 2022.
