SANTA MONICA (CNS) – Authorities Wednesday identified a pedestrian who was hit by a motorcycle and killed on the Santa Monica (10) Freeway in Santa Monica.
The collision occurred about 3:30 a.m. Tuesday on the eastbound 10 Freeway at Cloverfield Boulevard, according to the California Highway Patrol.
Armando Hernandez, 21, died at the scene, the Los Angeles County coroner’s office reported. His city of residence was not known.
The motorcyclist was taken to a hospital for treatment of unspecified injuries. The crash was under investigation.
