GARDENA (CNS) – A man who was killed in a shooting in the Gardena area was identified today. Â
The shooting was reported about 1:20 p.m. Sunday in the 15600 block of South Avalon Boulevard, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department. Â
Deontae Charles Jones, 28, died at the scene, the Los Angeles County coroner’s office reported. Â
A motive for the shooting was unknown. No suspect information was available. Â
