HOLLYWOOD HILLS (CNS) – An attempted burglary was reported Wednesday at the $21 million Hollywood Hills home of Dodgers pitcher Yoshinobo Yamamoto.

The attempted break-in was reported around 5 a.m. Wednesday in a section of Doheny Estates known as the “bird streets” for their avian names, according to broadcast reports.

Some windows were broken at the home before someone called 911, it was reported. The suspects fled without gaining entry into the nearly 11,000- square-foot home.

The Dodgers signed Yamamoto for a reported $325 million over 12 years. He was traveling with the team in Cincinnati at the time of the attempted break-in.
