Arrest Warrant Obtained For Suspect in Anaheim Dog Abuse Case

ANAHEIM (CNS) – Anaheim police Wednesday obtained a felony arrest warrant for animal cruelty for a 33-year-old man suspected of kicking and punching a dog.

Police received copies of doorbell camera video on Sept. 15 showing a man kicking and punching an all-black golden doodle, Anaheim Police Department Sgt. Shane Carringer said. The video went viral on social media.

Albert Frank Abad Jr. is described as 5 feet, 10 inches tall, weighing 155 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes.

Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Abad or dog is asked to call detectives at 714-321-3669.
