LOS ANGELES (CNS) – More than eight years after she filed for divorce, Angelina Jolie and ex-husband Brad Pitt have reached a settlement in the former glamour couple’s marital breakup.
The accord was finalized through a default declaration filed Monday in Los Angeles Superior Court. Jolie filed for divorce in September 2016. The two were together for about 10 years and married in France in 2014.
The same year Jolie filed for divorce, she accused Pitt of assaulting her and yelling at their children on a private plane traveling from the U.S. to France.
Pitt, 61, and Jolie, 49, are continuing their court battle regarding her sale of her share in Chateau Miraval, the French winery they once co-owned and the location where they were wed. Hearings on multiple matters in that case are scheduled Feb. 5.
