AG Bondi Calls Tesla Arson Attacks ‘Nothing Short Of Domestic Terrorism’

Attorney General Pam Bondi has labeled recent arson attacks on Tesla dealerships and vehicles as “domestic terrorism.” The Department of Justice has already charged several individuals, with some facing up to five years in prison. Bondi emphasized the severity of these attacks, stating, “The swarm of violent attacks on Tesla property is nothing short of domestic terrorism.”

The vandalism has targeted Tesla’s dealerships, showrooms, charging stations, and vehicles across the United States. In Las Vegas, multiple Tesla cars were set on fire, and in Kansas City, Cybertrucks were damaged. The FBI and local law enforcement are investigating these incidents.

The attacks coincide with protests against Elon Musk, who heads the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) under President Trump. The protests, known as “Tesla Takedown,” have spread across the U.S., Canada, and other countries. Musk expressed shock at the violence, stating, “I always thought that the left, you know, Democrats were supposed to be the party of empathy.”

Bondi has warned those involved in the attacks of severe consequences, including investigations into those coordinating and funding these crimes. The FBI’s Joint Terrorism Task Force is involved in the investigations.
