Actor Wyatt Russell, the son of Hollywood legends Kurt Russell and Goldie Hawn, clarified false rumors that he was the man who went viral for scolding law enforcement during large scale anti-ICE protests.
“This is indeed NOT Wyatt Russell, and we have been working to try and correct the mis-identification,” a spokesperson for the actor told the Independent.
The video showed a protester, who shared a resemblance with Russell, shouting at a National Guardsmen that they were on “the wrong side of history” in a clip that went viral on X Monday (June 9).
“Your assault rifles and your sticks? You should be standing here with us,” the man said in the video clip. “We know you got a job to do, but you took an oath to the Constitution, not to the fascists in the White House. Think about what you’re doing now. Think about what this means.”
Singer Marco Foster confirmed that the protester was Aaron Fisher, who he claimed messaged him personally after the video went viral.
