Actor Bruce Glover Dead At 92

Actor Bruce Glover, best known for his role as the villainous Mr. Wint in the James Bond film Diamonds Are Forever, died earlier this month at the age of 92, his son, Back to the Future actor Crispin Glover, confirmed several posts shared on his Instagram account Saturday (March 29).

“Bruce Herbert Glover May 2, 1932 – March 12, 2025,” Crispin wrote as the caption for five separate posts showing his late father, including one of himself as a child and his late mother, Betsy, posing alongside Bruce.

Crispin also shared photos of his father appearing in a 1965 episode of Perry Mason and the 1974 film Chinatown.

Crispin didn’t provide additional details regarding his father’s death and a cause has not yet been revealed publicly.

Glover was drafted in the U.S. Army for the Korean War, which delayed his acting plans before taking on local theater productions in his hometown of Chicago and later appearing on Broadway opposite Bette Davis in The Night of the Iguana and Anne Bancroft in Mother Courage and Her Children in the 1960s. The actor began appearing in television and movie roles in the late 1950s during a career that spanned eight decades, which included the shows Mission: Impossible, Mod Squad, Gunsmoke, S.W.A.T, The Dukes of Hazzard and The A-Team, as well as the films The Thomas Crowne Affair, Hard Times and Ghost World.
