Woman With Bombs Arrested Near Tesla Dealership She Allegedly Vandalized

A woman accused of repeatedly vandalizing a Tesla dealership in Northern Colorado has been arrested. Lucy Grace Nelson, 40, was taken into custody on Monday (February 24) after allegedly returning to the dealership with incendiary devices and materials linked to previous vandalism incidents. According to the Loveland Police Department, Nelson was allegedly involved in four incidents at the location, with previous acts reported on January 29, February 2, and February 7.

The vandalism included smashed windows and painted windshields, with messages such as “Nazi Cars” reportedly left on the premises. The police noted that these actions have caused significant concern among employees and residents in the area. Nelson, who also goes by the name Justin Thomas Nelson, faces charges of using explosives or incendiary devices during a felony, criminal mischief, and criminal attempt to commit a Class 3 felony.

Nelson was processed at the Larimer County Jail and released on a $100,000 bond. Federal charges are expected as the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) is involved in the ongoing investigation. An arraignment date has yet to be determined.
