Two Shot, One in Critical Condition After Shooting in Downtown Los Angeles

LOS ANGELES (CNS) – A 54-year-old man is in critical condition and a 33-year-old man is in stable condition after both were shot in downtown Los Angeles and the shooter is still on the loose Saturday.

Los Angeles Police officers were called around 7:40 p.m. Friday to 820 W. Seventh St., between Figueroa and Flower streets, regarding shots fired, an LAPD spokesman told City News Service.

When they arrived, officers learned the two men had been shot, but the victims did not cooperate with the officers and did not offer a suspect description, police said.

The victims were taken to a hospital, where they were treated for their injuries.
