Culver City Police Recover, Replace Stolen Holiday Gifts

CULVER CITY (CNS) – Culver City police recovered a stolen trailer of bikes, scooters and helmets stolen from a local nonprofit and arrested a suspect, authorities said Friday.

A trailer belonging to the Walk ‘n Rollers organization was stolen from a home on Patom Drive on Nov. 22, according to Culver City Police Department spokeswoman Jennifer Atenza. Detectives recovered the stolen trailer a few weeks later and arrested a suspect but some of the scooters, bikes and equipment were already gone.

Police appealed to donors from the Culver City Police Foundation and Target, and were able to replace the stolen property in time for the holidays.
