Three Adults Bitten in Norwalk When Family Dog Attacks

NORWALK (CNS) – A family dog attacked two men and a woman in a Norwalk house, authorities said Monday.

The attack occurred about 7:30 p.m. Sunday in the 14100 block of Crossdale Avenue, Lt. A. Healey of the Norwalk Sheriff’s Station told City News Service.

It appeared to be a spontaneous attack by the dog, described as a pit bull, Healey said. Injuries ranged from moderate to minor.

One of the victims stabbed the dog three or four times, he said.

The Southeast Area Animal Control Authority picked up the dog. The animal’s condition was not available, Healey said.

Two of the victims were taken to a hospital for treatment by ambulance, he said.
