Real Housewives’ Star Apologizes for Son’s Role in Ladera Ranch Brushfire

Jennifer Pedranti, a star of “The Real Housewives of Orange County,” issued an apology on Thursday for her son’s involvement in a brushfire that burned approximately seven acres in Ladera Ranch on Tuesday.

Pedranti addressed the incident on her Instagram story, clarifying that her son, along with other minors, was involved in starting the fire.

In her statement, Pedranti expressed deep regret, stating, “My ex-husband and I take this very seriously. This behavior is unacceptable, and we are deeply sorry to our community. This is a tough learning moment for our son and our family.” She emphasized that no one was injured and no property was damaged during the incident. The Orange County Fire Authority, led by Capt. Augie Romo, confirmed that three minors were questioned, but no arrests were made. The cause of the fire remains under investigation, with a full report expected within 10 days.

Pedranti mentioned that her son will face consequences for his actions, including taking a fire safety course to prevent future incidents. She also indicated that there would be repercussions within their family. As reported by The Orange County Register, Pedranti and her ex-husband, Will Pedranti, share five children, though she did not specify which son was involved.

Jennifer Pedranti joined “The Real Housewives of Orange County” during its 17th season in 2023. At the time, she was undergoing a divorce from Will Pedranti. The family previously resided in Ladera Ranch before moving to San Juan Capistrano.
