Hiker in `Grave Condition’ Found in Hollywood Hills

HOLLYWOOD HILLS (CNS) – An approximately 40-year-old man was in grave condition Sunday after he was found in the Hollywood Hills near Runyon Canyon.

The hiker was found at 9:17 a.m. Sunday at 1900 N. Runyon Canyon Road and received medical care from the Los Angeles Fire Department, LAFD spokesperson Jamie Stewart said.

The LAFD’s Air Operations and Rescue Helicopter was set to perform a hoist operation and transport the patient to a hospital, Stewart said.

Approximately 32 LAFD personnel were assigned to the operation.
