Pedro Pascal, star of ‘The Mandalorian and Grogu,’ surprised fans at Disneyland’s Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge on Saturday.
The actor donned the iconic Mandalorian armor and helmet, delighting guests waiting to board the Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run ride. As visitors entered the attraction, Pascal removed his helmet, revealing his identity to a chorus of gasps and cheers.
Pascal took the time to engage with fans, posing for photos and sharing jokes. “Now you all have to die because you’ve seen my face,” he quipped, referencing the Mandalorian tradition of not showing their faces. The surprise event was captured in a video shared on the official Star Wars and Disneyland Instagram accounts, showing Pascal preparing for the reveal.
The visit coincided with promotional events for the upcoming film ‘Star Wars: The Mandalorian and Grogu,’ set to release on May 22. Pascal was joined by co-star Sigourney Weaver, director Jon Favreau, and Lucasfilm President Dave Filoni. The group enjoyed the new nighttime show, ‘The Curious Child,’ which is part of the film’s promotion.
The event also featured themed food and drink offerings, along with new souvenir novelties at both Disneyland and Walt Disney World. Fans can look forward to the film’s debut and the continuation of the Star Wars saga.
