Armed Man In Ballistic Vest Arrested Near Trump Golf Club in Los Angeles

An armed man wearing a ballistic vest was arrested near the Trump National Golf Club in Rancho Palos Verdes.

The suspect, identified as Sean Steiner, a 36-year-old from Glendale, was spotted running through traffic and hiking trails near the golf course. Deputies seized multiple weapons from Steiner, including a “Joker-style” rifle painted green and purple, two loaded handguns, and an AR-style pistol with an orange tip designed to look like a toy.

According to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Office, Steiner admitted to firing a weapon in a nearby landslide area to “get some anger out.” The rifle was covered with phrases like “Why so serious?” and “Let’s put a smile on that face,” referencing the Joker character from Batman.

The arrest was made possible thanks to a vigilant citizen who reported the suspicious activity, prompting deputies to respond quickly. Steiner now faces multiple felony firearm charges. The Sheriff’s Department credited the “See Something, Say Something” initiative for the successful intervention, emphasizing the importance of public awareness in preventing potential violence.

This incident is part of a series of disturbances at Trump properties, highlighting ongoing security concerns. The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department continues to investigate the situation to ensure the safety of the community.
