CERRITOS (CNS) – Caltrans Friday announced overnight lane and ramp closures of the San Gabriel River (605) Freeway between Cerritos and Irwindale.
The closures, which are for a paving project, beginning Monday night and extending through the following weekend.
Up to three northbound 605 lanes will be closed from the Glenn Anderson (105) Freeway to Florence Avenue from 10 p.m. Monday to 5 a.m. Friday. The right lane of the northbound Golden State (5) Freeway will also be closed from Carson Road to Telegraph Road during those hours.
Up to two northbound 605 lanes from north of Katella Avenue to Del Amo Boulevard will be closed from 10 p.m. to 6 a.m. and the northbound 605 Carson Street and Rosecrans Avenue on-ramps will be closed from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m.
The northbound 605 South Street off-ramp will be closed from 10 p.m. to 6 a.m. and the right lane of the southbound 605 will be closed from Del Amo Boulevard to north of Katella Avenue from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m.
The southbound 605 to northbound 5 connector will be closed from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. and the southbound 605 Alondra off-ramp will be closed from 10 p.m. to 6 a.m.
The eastbound 105 to northbound 605 transition will be closed from 11 p.m. to 5 am.
Two right lanes in both directions of the 605 will be closed Monday through Thursday from Telegraph Road to the San Bernardino (10) Freeway from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m.
Monday night through Saturday night, lane closures start as early as 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. with closures lasting until 7 a.m. on Saturday, March 14.
Up to three lanes of the 605 will be closed in both directions between the 10 and the Foothill (210) Freeway.
The eastbound Valley Boulevard on-ramp to the northbound 605 will be closed from 11 p.m. to 6 a.m. , except Saturday, when it will be closed until 9 a.m., and on Sunday, when it will be closed until 10 a.m.
The westbound 10 connectors to the northbound and southbound 605 will be closed, in addition to the closure of the westbound 210 to southbound 605 connector.
The eastbound 210 to northbound and southbound 605 connectors will be closed as will the eastbound 10 to northbound and southbound 605 connector.
The northbound 605 to eastbound and westbound 210 connectors will be closed. So will the northbound 605 Ramona Boulevard, Lower Azusa Road, Live Oak Avenue and Arrow Highway on- and off-ramps.
All ramps will be closed sequentially as work progresses and no two consecutive ramps will be closed at the same time, according to Caltrans.
