Dodgers Parade to Celebrate World Series Titles Monday in Downtown L.A.

Thousands of fans are expected to flood downtown Los Angeles on Monday as the city celebrates the Dodgers’ back-to-back World Series championships with a parade and celebration event at Dodger Stadium.

The parade will begin at 11 a.m. at Temple Street and Broadway, continuing west on Temple, south on Grand Avenue, west on 7th Street, and north on Figueroa Street before ending at 5th Street. Fans are encouraged to gather along Grand Avenue, the longest stretch of the route, to catch a glimpse of their favorite players riding atop double-decker buses.

Following the parade, a special ticketed event will take place at Dodger Stadium around 12:15 p.m. City officials are urging attendees to plan ahead, as parking will be extremely limited. Fans are encouraged to purchase parking in advance with their event tickets.

The L.A. Metro will offer extended and enhanced service to accommodate the celebrations. Officials recommend taking the Metro Rail, with seven stations providing easy access to the parade route, including Union Station, Civic Center/Grand Park, and 7th Street/Metro Center.

For the second year in a row, LA Metro is excited to offer safe, affordable, and convenient service to help Angelenos celebrate the World Series Champions Los Angeles Dodgers,” Metro said in a statement.

Regular Metro fare is $1.75 one-way or $3.50 round-trip, and officials recommend loading digital TAP cards in advance to save time. The Dodger Stadium Express will also run from Union Station and Harbor Gateway Transit Center between 8:30 a.m. and 1 p.m., with return service ending 45 minutes after the celebration concludes.

Because of the festivities, several downtown streets and bus lines will be detoured starting early Monday morning. Officials are encouraging fans to take public transit and allow extra travel time to join the city in celebrating another championship moment in Dodger Blue history.
