Man Created To-Do List To Cover Up His Partner’s Murder: Cops

A man from McCreary County, Kentucky, has been arrested for allegedly murdering his partner and creating a checklist to cover up the crime. Daniel A. Kearney, 39, faces numerous charges including murder, and abuse of a corpse. Authorities discovered the body of his partner, 36-year-old Damian Poole, on Thursday (September 11) after Poole’s mother reported him missing earlier that week.

Poole’s body was found inside a camper on Farm Ridge Road, where he lived with Kearney. The body was loosely covered with sheets and towels. Investigators said that partially decomposed body, which was bound by the ankles with nylon rope, had been in the camper “for an extended period of time.”

During the search, police discovered a to-do list that allegedly included tasks related to the murder, such as cleaning the residence, disposing of evidence, and getting rid of the body.

Kearney is currently held at the Knox County Detention Center. The investigation continues as authorities work to piece together the events leading up to Poole’s death. The discovery of the checklist has raised concerns about the premeditated nature of the crime.
