Calese Carron Crowder, a 38-year-old registered sex offender, was arrested again in Burbank for allegedly sniffing a woman’s rear end in a public store. This incident marks the second arrest for Crowder in two months for similar behavior. Burbank police took him into custody on Wednesday following a report of inappropriate conduct inside a local Walgreens store. When police arrived, Crowder was not on the scene, he was arrested a few hours later.
Crowder’s previous arrest occurred in July at the Empire Center in Burbank, where surveillance footage captured him following a shopper in the women’s section and crouching behind her to sniff her buttocks. He was charged with loitering with intent to commit a crime, and bail was set at $100,000, according to the Burbank Police Department.
Crowder has a history of similar offenses dating back to 2021, with incidents reported in both Glendale and Burbank. In 2023, a viral TikTok video showed him allegedly sniffing a woman at a Barnes & Noble bookstore, prompting other women to come forward with similar allegations. Crowder has previously served time for burglary and robbery and was sentenced to a year in jail for indecent exposure in February 2023, although he was released early.
