Newly released bodycam footage from the Fountain Valley Police Department reveals the intense moments leading to the fatal shooting of Osean McClintock, a 26-year-old man, on January 24. Police were initially called to the area near Kazuo Masuda Middle School following reports of someone attempting to enter an occupied car. Upon locating McClintock, officers engaged in a foot pursuit as he fled the scene.

The chase led McClintock through various locations, including a gas station, a bank, and finally a parking lot. During the pursuit, McClintock managed to wrestle a gun away from one of the officers. The situation escalated, resulting in officers fatally shooting McClintock.
