ANAHEIM (CNS) – Anaheim police Monday were investigating the cause of a crash that injured eight people, including a driver with two young children in her car.
The crash happened about 10:40 p.m. Sunday at Harbor Boulevard and Victor Avenue, Anaheim police Sgt. Matt Sutter said.
The drivers of two BMWs were southbound on Harbor at a high rate of speed when there was a collision with a compact SUV heading northbound on Harbor, Sutter said.
Eight people were injured, but all are expected to survive, Sutter said.
The SUV’s driver was taken to an area hospital in critical condition but she is also expected to survive, Sutter said. She had two children in the backseat who were younger than 10, Sutter said.
Police were investigating whether racing was a potential cause of the crash, Sutter said.
