Police Arrest Man Allegedly Armed With Shotgun at Inglewood Gas Station

INGLEWOOD (CNS) – Officers today fired at a man armed with a shotgun who allegedly appeared to be pointing his weapon at an occupied vehicle in the driveway of a gas station in Inglewood.

No one was injured and the armed suspect was subsequently taken into custody, the Inglewood Police Department reported.

Officers responding a little after 4 a.m. to a radio call in the area of USA Gas Station, 4130 W. Century Blvd., saw the man pointing the shotgun at a vehicle and ordered him to drop the weapon, police said.

When he did not comply, officers fired shots at him.

Inglewood police asked anyone with information regarding the incident to call them at 310-412-5246.
