12 People Injured in South El Monte After Bus and Semi Collide

LOS ANGELES (CNS) – A collision involving a bus and a semi truck injured 12 people in South El Monte Wednesday.

The crash between the bus and a parked truck carrying lumber was reported around 6 a.m. Wednesday at the intersection of North Rosemead Boulevard and Klingerman Street, south of San Bernardino (10) Freeway, according to the Los Angeles County Fire Department.

Seven of the people in the crash including the bus driver were taken to the hospital by paramedics. The extent of their injuries was unknown, according to media reports.

The northbound lanes of the intersection were closed.
